Loose Balls: The Short, Wild Life of the American Basketball Association-As Told by the Players, Coaches, and Movers and Shakers Wh by Terry Pluto,
The American Basketball Association (1967-1976) gave birth to Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Bob Costas, the Indiana Pacers, the San Antonio Spurs, the Slam Dunk contest, flashy moves, and the three-point basket. During its nine seasons, the ABA generated scorn and laughter--and made a lasting impact on how the game is played. 24 pages of photographs.

Bad News Bears (2005) / Bad News Bears (1976)
Double Feature contains "Bad News Bears (2005)" and "Bad News Bears (1976)" "Bad News Bears (2005)" - Billy Bob Thornton stars in this fresh take on the irreverent 1976 comedy hit. Thornton is a grizzled former minor league baseball player who is recruited to coach a woefully inept Little League team to championship against their hated rivals, the Yankees. "Bad News Bears (1976)" - A major surprise as one of 1976's top-grossing films, "The Bad News Bears" is a movie about children that is refreshing, utterly believable, and quite cleverly funny. Walter Matthau is at his absolute best as the grumbling beer-guzzling former minor-league pitcher who gets roped into coaching a band of half-pint misfits somewhat loosely called a team. With this bunch in uniform, it's impossible to get caught up in the suburban competitive spirit that drives other adults to extremes of parental discipline. So, instead, the Bears have a good time.

AMC Pacer - The AMC Pacer was a two-door, compact car produced in the United States by the American Motors Corporation between 1975 and 1980, although design started in 1971. Its unusual, bulbous look and differently-sized doors still make it an easily recognized icon of the 1970s.

Richard Teague - Richard Teague was a principal designer for the American Motors company. He is resposible for the design of a number of the cars, such as the now legendary AMC Gremlin and AMC Pacer.

Tax Reform Act of 1976 - The Tax Reform Act of 1976 was passed by the United States Congress in September of 1976, and signed into law by President Gerald Ford on October 4, 1976, becoming public law 94-455.

1976 Brazilian Grand Prix - Results from the 1976 Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix held at Interlagos on January 25, 1976
